What do country music legend Dolly Parton and rising star Ella Jayne have in common? They’ve both shot music videos in Nashville, TN! In fact, many artists from all genres of music consider Nashville to be a prime location for filming, singing, and pursuing your music career. That’s why they call it Music City!
After recording and dropping her first single “Overpass Graffiti”, now on Spotify and Apple Music, Ella made her way back to Nashville to film a music video to accompany the song. Never having filmed a music video, Ella said she felt more calm than nervous to start. She expressed how it felt similar to getting into a booth to record her music at Blackbird Studio for the first time.
The video was taken at a large graffiti overpass close to downtown Nashville. Because she had already recorded Overpass Graffiti, it was simple for her to sing along. The videographers had her walking and singing along train tracks, under the bridge, and up against a giant graffiti wall which undoubtedly was the main focus of the video. Ella gave it her all and was excited to see what they came up with and for her fans to watch it too.

On April 4th, 2022, the official video was released on Ella Jayne’s YouTube Channel. It now has over 630 views, 36 likes, and 10 comments from fans across the world. Thrilled with the way it came out Ella Jayne could not be more thankful for the reaction and support she has received.“I’m official and cool now,” she joked. “I had such a fun time shooting this video and I really looked forward to the release. I always want to give my fans something new from me and this video was a great opportunity for that.”
